Governance Council

The Governance Council is the body elected at Kentwood to make decisions for the school. This body decides who we hire to fill positions, how we spend our budgetary resources and our curriculum to name a few. Members consist of administration, teachers and parents.

The eight sub-committees of Governance are: Budget; Curriculum & Instruction; ELAC (Bilingual); Human Resources; Parent & Community Involvement; Policy/Operations/Facilities; Professional Development; and School Programs/Schedule
